ABG Development Academy's story

Alberta Brown Green, the founder of ABG Development Academy, is a business owner in Monroe, Louisiana. Throughout her career, she noticed the disparities and the challenges faced by young adults in accessing stable, well-paying jobs. Alberta has always had a strong passion and desire to bridge the gap concerning systemic issues such as Generational Poverty, Lack of Access to certain careers, or Discrimination that hinders young adults from attaining living wages. She believes that everyone, if willing, is trainable. For instance, the potential of young adults and their ability to succeed, when given the right skills and support, through education, training, and resources, can develop their capabilities and increase their earning potential! The ABG Development Academy was born out of a need to:
